5-Star Google Rating  |  Factory certified mobile technicians  |  Fast scheduling

The repairs that cost the most are the ones that could’ve been prevented. Regular maintenance keeps your equipment running smoothly, extends its lifespan, and catches small issues before they become expensive ones.

What a Gym Equipment Maintenance Visit Actually Covers

A proper maintenance visit isn't just "checking that it turns on." Here's the full checklist our technicians go through:

Belt alignment & tension adjustment

Misaligned belts cause uneven wear, motor strain, and side-shift while running.

Deep lubrication of belt and deck

Reduces friction, motor load, and noise — and is the single biggest factor in belt lifespan.

Motor & motor controller inspection

Checking for overheating signs, unusual sounds, and wear on brushes/bearings.

Bolt & frame tightening

Vibration loosens hardware over time — we go through every connection point.

Electronics & console panel check

Testing display, sensors, heart rate monitors, and incline/resistance controls.

Resistance & incline calibration

Ensures the workout you're getting matches the numbers on the screen.

Cleaning of internal components

Dust and debris buildup is one of the most common causes of premature motor failure.

Full functional test

We run the equipment through its full range before we consider the job done.

How Often Does Your Equipment Need This?

Recommended Preventative Maintenance Frequency

Every 3-6 months

Home equipment used 3+ times/week

Regular use means regular wear. A check-up every season keeps things running smoothly year-round.

Every 3-6 months

Home equipment used occasionally

Lighter use still benefits from an annual once-over — dust, belt tension, and lubrication don't wait for use.

Monthly or quarterly

Commercial / multi-unit

High-traffic equipment needs frequent attention. We offer recurring maintenance contracts for property managers and gym owners.

Maintenance Details by Equipment Type

Treadmill Maintenance

We deep-clean the motor compartment, lubricate the walking belt and other required components, check belt alignment and tension, and inspect the deck, rollers, drive system, and electronics. Every service includes a safety and performance check to make sure the treadmill is running smoothly and safely.

Elliptical Maintenance

We clean and lubricate key moving components, tighten and adjust hardware, and inspect pivot points, rails, rollers, bearings, and the drive system. We also check for developing noise, excess play, and safety issues before they turn into bigger problems.

Cable Machine Maintenance

We clean and lubricate moving components, inspect and adjust the cable and pulley system, check guide rods and weight stack movement, and tighten structural hardware. We also perform a safety inspection of cables, attachment points, and other high-wear components.

Exercise Bike Maintenance

We clean and service the drivetrain: the crank assembly, pedals, drive belt, flywheel, bearings, and resistance system, lubricate applicable moving parts, tighten and adjust hardware, and check the crank assembly, pedals, resistance system, bearings, and electronics. We finish with a performance and safety check.

Rower Maintenance

We clean and lubricate the rail and applicable moving components, inspect the chain or belt system, seat rollers, drive and resistance mechanisms, and tighten all critical hardware. Performance and safety are checked before the service is complete.

Stair Climber Maintenance

We clean and lubricate high-wear components, inspect and adjust the step and drive systems, check chains or belts, rollers, bearings, and structural hardware, and perform a full safety and operational check.

More Than Just a Tune-Up

Our maintenance is designed to clean, lubricate, adjust, inspect, and test your equipment – not just look it over. We focus on the components that wear, loosen, collect dust, or gradually fall out of adjustment, helping prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the life of your equipment.

Maintenance Questions Answered

How much does a maintenance visit cost?

Maintenance visits start at $169 for residential equipment, $189 for commercial — the same as our diagnostic/repair visit fee, since the time and expertise involved are comparable.

My equipment seems fine. Do I really need maintenance?

"Fine" is exactly when maintenance has the most impact. Once something starts making loud noise or showing error codes, you're probably already in repair territory.

Can I get maintenance and a repair done in the same visit?

Often, yes — if our technician is already there for maintenance and notices something that needs repair, we'll let you know and can usually address it in the same visit (additional parts may apply). Minor fixes are included in the maintenance visit.

How long does maintenance take?

Most equipment maintenance takes about 1:30 hrs per machine, depending on the equipment type and its condition.

What if you find a problem?

We’ll explain what we found, recommend the best solution, and let you know the cost before performing any additional repairs.

Do you offer recurring maintenance plans?

Yes. We offer recurring maintenance plans for commercial facilities with high-use equipment where more frequent service is needed.
For most home equipment, intensive recurring maintenance usually isn’t necessary. We’ll show you how to properly lubricate and care for your equipment between service visits to help keep it running smoothly.
